Newsletter Vol. 44 • Love & Truth ~ Knowing vs Embodiment

We send you love and respect to your unique and individual journey.

Throughout my spiritual journey as a practitioner, I was recalling the times where I would find myself feeling a bit insecure for not having an official title, certification, or even mentorship to justify or classify myself as a "professional service provider" because I have always been self-taught. But each time, my Spirit tells me "to continue to do all things from the heart". It was an inherent knowing that I can't go wrong if I just focused on that.

There is a quote by Jimi Hendrix that I always love to think of, and it says "Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens".

Coming into a spiritual awakening and awareness of our journey, there is a phase we go through of coming into knowledge and understanding, especially if you are masculine-energy dominant. This is important as it aids us in making sense of what is going on within us, around us, and how the intangible and nonphysical aspect of the Universe works. This is also where we identify our old paradigms and narratives that limited us, hurt ourselves and others, and what ultimately no longer serves us. But this phase can also make one think that we have arrived or got it all. And with that, there can be a sense of spiritual arrogance about it, and we can get cocky with ourselves and even with others. I have been there and observed this often in the spiritual community.

But what differentiates knowledge from wisdom? To me, the essential difference is that wisdom comes from knowledge that is embodied within. It has taken the process of thorough examination and experience to be wholly digested into our being. And once it becomes wisdom, it loses its eagerness to prove itself to anyone as it becomes part of the life expression. And it listens, first. I also see this as the transcendance from head to heart, because the heart speaks a higher language than what the head can fully comprehend, process, or express. And the heart is also where the essence of Divine love resides and connects to all things.

There is a passage in the Bible I always loved. It is 1 Corinthians chapter 13.  It so beautifully captures the essence of wisdom by saying that you can do all kinds of shit, know shit, and even perform miracles, but if you don't have Love, it is all just noise or fluff. In this world, we are measured by performance and result. The intent, such as love, is rarely honored or even considered as a factor in how we judge or perceive value.  Having titles, certifications, accomplishments, or even multi-million dollar success means nothing without Love... At least it is not what lives onto the infinite and beyond.  But even if you have none of those things, Love will always be the beacon of light and transform whatever you know to become the bread of life, and that to me, is wisdom.  The intellect may aid in storing vast amounts of knowledge, but it cannot transform it into wisdom until love shines a light on it.  It is like the moon; until it is lit up by the sun (Love), it is just an object floating in space.  But when it is lit up, it becomes the guiding light in the darkest of nights.

I observe many gifted people in the spiritual community who speak of higher consciousness and wellness, and yet miss the fundamentals of having the heart to serve, with Love.  But because they speak the "correct" lingo and branding, it creates a form of "toxic positivity" and subsequently neglect their own true ascension process.  But when you are centered in love, it always finds a way to address ourselves within, first.  To be healed, integrated, and whole.  This is what gives substance and potency to the service providers transcending moral codes, appearance of wellness, dogma, or practice.

True success and abundance that flows endlessly and spreads to those around them can only come from our connection to Love.  And if we are to call ourselves practitioners, one that is truly interested in making a real impact and creating a ripple effect of change, then Love is the only thing that matters (or materializes), and through Love wisdom manifests.  To me, that is Truth embodied.

And it is what Guided Soul-ution was founded upon and devotes itself to uphold.
