~ Forgiveness ~
Dear Soul Family & Friends,
We send you greetings with love and respect to your being and journey! We trust that your journey is leading you to the answers, solution, awareness, and clarity that you need to step into your authentic path and purpose.
As we approach Halloween, which is also a season where past loved ones are more actively returning to visit, reconcile, encourage, live vicariously through us, and to heal, we are also reminded of letting go of the past. And words like "forgiveness" may also pop up in our thoughts. I was greatly inspired and felt in sync with Michelle Zarrin, the founder of Mindfulness Expo (Which is coming up on 11/30), who wrote so beautifully in her newsletter article.
Forgiveness is a sensitive subject and yet, it is also the key to closures, release, and healing of our past which consequently opens and expands our potential into the future, which means that it is ultimately of our own interest. Because although it may seem that we are offering goodness to others that have wronged us, it is us that we are setting free from that scenario and removing our own debt to that experience.
The mechanism of forgiveness is not about you pardoning the person from that action or some kind of mantra that you just keep repeating, and certainly not about allowing that person back into your life or condoning that behavior. It is best arrived when you activate genuine empathy by stepping into that person's story behind their action that resulted in your heartbreak. What led up to this action? What are their karmic struggles and trauma that fuels the pattern of their behavior? How does this person feel about what was done to you? When you put yourself in their shoe, it removes you from the story for that moment and alleviates the pain of staying in the victim energy.
And most importantly, are you able to forgive yourself in this experience by accepting what is and how it was done? That without this contrasting experience, you would not be able to access something within to discover?
I trust that this message resonated to those that needed so that you can welcome the Thanksgiving season with complete closures of your past...
I have pasted Michelle's words below for you to deeply absorb and meditate on.
From the heart,
Shiro & Jenny

As always, we are grateful to be invited to host Sacred Circle on a monthly basis with both Hard Yoga and Crystal Elixir. We trust that those who are guided to participate are there with their own Divine appointment and whatever is shared ultimately benefits the collective.
As always, the Spirit will guide us through the group readings and surface teachings and wisdom, and we anticipate another inspiring time together. We will begin with a prayer and guided meditation followed by a group reading. I will connect with each participant to do readings which will trigger everyone to participate in questions and discussions as the counsel is provided. We highly recommend for you to come with any questions. Whatever that can be shared within the Circle will be addressed. Ask and you shall receive!
At Hard Yoga location, there is a yoga class before and after the Circle so if you'd like to do yoga beforehand or afterwards, please feel free to book yourself directly with Hard Yoga.
*The Sacred Circle is hosted by Hard Yoga and Crystal Elixir and the reservation and admission is handled directly with the hosts. Please contact the host for any questions, thank you.

~ Here is an excerpt from Michelle's newsletter on "Forgiveness"~
"Here’s an interesting perspective on forgiveness that I came across recently, in an article titled Forgiveness Can Improve Mental and Physical Health:
“…Forgiveness can help rebuild self-esteem… “When people are beaten down by injustice, you know who they end up not liking? Themselves,” Enright says. “When you stand up to the pain of what happened to you and offer goodness to the person who hurt you, you change your view of yourself.””
“…you change your view of yourself.”
In my teachings on forgiveness, I’ve always shared why the act of forgiveness becomes an act of self-interest. And the above statement is one more reason why forgiving is solely about ourselves, and not the other person.
And there’s something I’d like to clarify with the above statement; “… when you offer goodness to the person who hurt you…” does not mean being nice to them, or letting them back in your life. But at the very core of forgiveness, there is the expansive energy of understanding, and even compassion.
Why understanding and compassion? Because we take a bird’s eye view of the situation and realize the state of mind the person had to have been in to inflict pain. Sometimes their pain could have been acute, while other times the pain could have been carried since childhood.
Another reason people do not want to forgive is because they feel they’re letting the other person off the hook. That is far from the truth.
When we forgive, we are freeing ourselves from the dark prison of their thoughts and actions. It doesn’t mean we pardon them. It simply means we remove ourselves from their internal chaos.
We are releasing ourselves from the bondages of the past.
Want to know one more imperative reason forgiveness is an act of self-interest?
Our external world is a reflection of our internal world. So if we harbor resentment, frustration, sadness or any form of negativity, we are bound to recreate scenarios with those same vibrational frequencies in other parts of our lives.
The energy we shelter within, whether in our conscious or subconscious mind, is imperative for the creation of our life.
Creation is a result of our thoughts + our emotions.
It is counter-productive to think of a beautiful relationship we desire, but still carry feelings of pain from our last relationship.
Both our thoughts and our feelings have to be in alignment for positive creation.
Otherwise, we continue to create chaos.
And what if we need to forgive ourselves?
Even if we need to forgive ourselves, we are releasing the old version of ourselves, the one who hurt, so we can make room for a wiser, more compassionate version of ourselves.
Forgiveness is a sensitive topic. But it’s one we all have to deal with, because not a single person on this planet goes through life without ever experiencing pain.
And forgiveness is a crucial step on our spiritual journey. Our peace, and our life’s potential cannot blossom if we harbor negativity from the past.
Think of negative thoughts and emotions as blocks within your heart and mind that hold you back from truly living your best life."
